I’m giving this UPS Store five stars because the service I received today went above and beyond my expectations. When I arrived with few documents which had to be printed in different formats the young staff members Joshua and Jerusalem immediately stepped in. They were patient, expertly resized everything to correct size , and ensured the format was perfect without any stress on my end. Their professionalism and helpful attitude saved me a ton of hassle. This is exactly the kind of service that deserves a top rating!

Roo was amazing and so beyond kind and helpful. My package was delayed and I was unable to pick it and Roo truly went above and beyond to ensure I am able to get the package. It was a really stressful time and I cannot say how much I appreciate what could have been a terrible experience and instead turned into a happy and not stressful experience at all .

The customer service at this store is dreadful. I stopped by to simply scan 2 QR codes for return labels, and ended up standing in line for nearly 20 minutes while the clerk processed a single notarial transaction. (I was initially the second person in line, but the first person gave up after a while, indicating this had already been going on a good while.) This was unfortunate, but is sometimes unavoidable. What really frustrated me was that at no point did the clerk: 1. Acknowledge the people standing in line for a long time and not getting any closer -- just saying “sorry for the wait, I’ll be with you as soon as possible” goes a long way. 2. Ask what the customers needed (for example, after 10-12 minutes I noticed there was a self-service package drop in the corner -- though it didn’t work for my return) 3. Most importantly, step over to the open register to work in any brief transactions like mine, which took about 30 seconds in total. (A customer who is taking up tons of counter time is going to understand that the clerk has to keep the line moving if at all possible, by attending to quick items. I'm guessing this store was effectively closed for business for over a half hour due to this one transaction.) The clerk seemed friendly, and was the only one working there at the time (drawing my sympathy), so I blame UPS for understaffing and especially lack of training. I will avoid this store in the future.

Terrible customer service. Went to drop off a pre labeled package yesterday. Two women behind the counter. Took me 15 mins to get it done. They spent way too much time with the people ahead of me, one woman after spending like 13 mins with a customer, took more time to give each of her three dogs a treat! While I waited during business hours! Insane. Then when I got to the front the other woman had tons of attitude. She acted like I should know the process of checking in a package before waiting in line. It’s my first time. Maybe great me when I walk in, tell me it will be a few minutes. Maybe anticipate my needs and see I have a package and make an announcement that anyone with a pre labeled package needs to check in the kiosk before getting in line? Just really bad. Please hire new associates who care about helping the thriving business community in San Francisco.
