While I can not say that I had an overall positive experience, working with Robby was indeed a positive part of my experience; if I do ever use this location (or indeed UPS) again, it will be because of my experience with Robby. The original experience involved a clerk that was so high, just being within 4 ft of them gave me a contact high; they were listing to their phone and scrolling through their contacts and socials while “helping” me. They were so distracted that they had to restart my transaction multiple times. Because they were not focused on their job they missed the timeline and expectations I set, and because of my annoyance at their “service” I failed to realize their mistake; in the end a very important package, that needed to be delivered within a very short timeline, missed the window I was aiming for. To be clear, I was expecting to spend $$$ and would have gladly spent $,$$$ to meet that window, so this employee did in fact cost this business revenue. But there is no recovering that window, it was missed and is now gone. After this original experience, I was convinced that nothing and no one would be able to salvage or recover any shred of positive customer experience. This original experience and the failure to get my package where I needed it, when I needed it by, has left me hesitant to ever give UPS (much less this specific location) any future business. After a few very frustrating hours on the phone and the UPS website, I was finally able to reach Robby, at this location, on the phone. Robby was courteous and focused on my needs. He clearly communicated timelines and next steps and then actually delivered on what he promised. While the window for delivery has passed, I will at least be able to recover my package in a timely manner because of Robby.

I came in for an Amazon return and left appalled. One of my returns came with the qr code and didn’t realize that the other did not. It was supposed to be pre-printed. Cool, no problem. I realize there were printers in the store but he proceeds to tell me that it would cost $4 to print the label. 4 dollars. For a piece of paper! My jaw hit the floor because I have never experienced corporate greed at this level. For you all to tax people like that is sad. I will not be patronizing this location any longer.

The upgrade is nice BUT the workers here really need to some training on how to help or assist customer. EVERY TIME I go there they are not pleasant. You greet employees and they say nothing, you ask them a question and they look at you like you are being rude by asking them anything. I go to return a package that specifically says no labels or Boxes needed when the employee scans it she says we need a box, I show her where it says no boxes needed and she responds by saying I don’t understand how people think it’s ok to ship without boxes. Today I went again to return a package and it said no boxes needed but I took a shipping bag in case the employee scans and tells me I need a box again. It was a different employee I said hello how are you and nothing, she scans my he package and I say to her it says no boxes needed but last time you guys got upset so do you need the bag? With a smirk she responded with a yea and took it. I didn’t see her put it in the bag she gave me my receipt and that was it. Unfortunately this is the closest location and I have to deal with these employees. I do think that who ever is in charge of this store does not care for the people they are serving.

I stopped in today to ship a few packages, including four USPS items. I was told there would be a $4.00 fee to process them, which caught me off guard since I run an online business and have used UPS Stores many times without being charged a fee like that. That said, I’m still giving this location 3 stars. The employee I worked with was very friendly and professional. Even though I was clearly frustrated, he took the time to explain the policy, which I appreciated. Another positive was that I arrived around 6:27 PM( they close at 6:30) and they were still open and operating. I respect a business that honors its posted hours. If it weren’t for the $4.00 fee, I would definitely consider making this my go-to shipping location.

These five stars are for Robby, the UPS employee who was working a busy Saturday shift by himself and killing it. Genuinely nice, efficient, went above and beyond for every single person in line. Sold me a big box, packaged it for me, handled everything. Whatever UPS is paying him, it’s not enough. Thanks Robby! 🙌
