I came into the store with 4 very heavy boxes. They were gracious enough to let me borrow a hand truck to bring everything in the store. They informed me that the boxes I used weren't meant for shipping so I asked if they had any shipping boxes available. They had only one so the called another store which had them. They were gracious enough to allow me to leave everything there while my friend and I went to the other location. After everything was said and done, they packaged everything up and I was on my way! I'm extremely satisfied with the service I received!!!

I was having an issue with getting clear backpacks delivered by FedEx to UPS. Brooks was so helpful, kind and considerate. He made sure we had those backpacks for a health fair on the Navajo reservation. Thank you Brooks.

I WILL NEVER give my business to UPS again. EVER!!! I know a lot of small and big business owners who use UPS as their preferred shipping provider and that is soon going to change to FEDEX. Now it is semi-difficult to get businesses to do much of anything that requires extra work thats unneccessary in their eyes UNLESS you know someone whos employed within (im talking about the businesses that I know who have business accounts with UPS). Well my mother is top sales in her division for over 30+ years and they are going to switch soon and I am speaking to 10 other businesses to do the same. THIS ALL STEMMED from this UPS location off Central and Camelback and my visit there. I came in with a package that I needed to have sent to a friend down in Texas. It was vital that he got this package ASAP so he could in return, mail me the laptop that I was getting from him, which I was going to use for my business. I sent over ($1600.00) worth of equipment and I got insurance on it. The lady at the UPS store told me the package would arrive on Thursday. I had relayed that information to my friend. On Wednesday, my friend went out of town a couple hours away for business. I had received a text message stating the package was delivered. I had called my friend to ask him if he received the package and he stated he did not because he was out of town and he thought it was arriving the following day. I told him that the package was delivered and the only way that was done is if someone signed for it. He hung up with me and called his wife to see if she didl. She was not home, so she didnt sign either for it, but she left work to go home to see if the package was there. (So now I have disrupted 2 peoples lives in search for this package). When she arrived home she did not see the package anywhere. I had issues looking up the package on UPS website, so I had to drive down to the store to ask them. Their customer service is so poor its disgusting. They told me that someone named "Fi" had signed for the package. I told them that is impossible as he is out of town, not expecting the package til tomorrow (when the girl told me it would arrive). There was NO photo of the package delivery. Long story short, Fi, my friend, had found out that the UPS delivery driver, dropped the package off, and signed for the package themself, for the resident (because the UPS drivers know everyone there in that neighborhood), as a "courtesy" delivery, so they dont have to wait for their package. Welll. someone apparently saw this and had stolen the package from wherever the UPS driver had put it and NOW I am out $1600.00+ shipping fee from UPS + insurance $ paid + laptop my friend was supposed to send me once he received the equipment (over $2000.00) + gas/time its taken me to try to resolve this issue (which has remained UNRESOLVED). Everytime I spoke to someone at the UPS store (when I was reluctant to get ahold of anyone), they were NOT helpful. They said they would call me back (over 4 times) AND NEVER ONCE DID. I waited and waited and waited. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and now I have lost faith in UPS completely. This store has tarnished UPS's name completely. Since then I have heard and seen bad things about this place. I have TRIED (yes I say TRIED) to file a claim, but they wont even file it. I cannot file it on my own. THE STORE has to file it and they refuse to do so. They refuse to take responsibility (UPS) for their actions. What was the point of getting INSURANCE WHEN YOU CANNOT EVEN FILE A CLAIM FOR IT. I have NEVER filed a claim ever in my life. And the ONE TIME I need to file it, I have a horrible experience with it. The ONLY way they can make this right is if I get paid for my stuff that I sent that went missing due to their negligence and poor communication. This is friggin ridiculous. TO ALL THOSE WHO READ THIS---- trust me, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO FEDEX, YOU WILL BE MUCH MORE SATISFIED.

Ashley and Brooks went above and beyond my expectations for customer service. My friend and I visited this location with four large boxes and asked for a hand cart to unload them from the car. Unfortunately, when we brought the boxes into the store, they broke (they were Walmart moving boxes). Brooks was very upfront with us about the condition of the boxes and explained the issues with shipping them in that shape. Even though we had to go to another store to get new boxes because they only had one in stock, his honesty really stood out to me. Ashley kindly called another store on our behalf to check box availability before we left. They even held all of our items behind the counter until we returned. When we came back, Brooks and Ashley helped assemble the boxes, repack everything, and complete all of the shipping labels. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, customer service, and the way they patiently explained the process to my friend, who had never shipped anything before.

We’ve used this UPS Store (24 W. Camelback) regularly as a UPS Access Point and for Amazon returns. In the past, we’ve had positive experiences with friendly and helpful staff, which is why this recent pattern has been so disappointing. Over the past month, both my husband and I have had multiple negative interactions with the same front-counter employee. The issue has never been store policy, but about how information is delivered. During a package pickup (the third one that week), I was told that a photo of my ID on my phone was no longer acceptable. I understand and respect policy changes. What stood out was the cold, condescending tone used to communicate it, and from an employee who had literally helped me the day before. When I returned the next day with a mobile ID, the interaction was again curt. When I asked whether the ID needed to be scanned for verification, the response, without eye contact, was a snickered “no.” My husband’s experience was similar. On Saturday, he stopped in to ask about notarizing a document. A different employee told him a notary would be on site the following day and that he could come in before 3 PM. The employee in question was present during this conversation and apparently was a notary and could have helped him or set up an appointment with him, fully knowing his needs. When my husband returned as instructed and asked the employee about getting the document notarized, he was met with audible sighing and eye-rolling, implying this was an inconvenience for him, despite the store being quiet. When he calmly asked whether notarization was a service they offered and whether there was a problem assisting him, the response was: “If it was a problem, I would’ve said it was a problem.” My husband chose to leave. As he walked out, he could hear the employee making dismissive remarks about the interaction to others in the store. At no point has the issue been about policy or the answer given. The attitude and the effort made to make the customer feel unwelcome and that they are a burden is a red flag for any business owner. Given our experiences and the consistency of similar feedback from other customers, we’ve decided to take our business to another nearby UPS Store. With so many nearby options, there’s no reason to tolerate interactions that feel unnecessarily rude or unprofessional.
