If you’ve ever tried returning something huge… like, say… AN ENTIRE DOOR… you already know the chaos that comes with it. 😅 Well, picture this: my man and I show up to UPS with a full-blown door in hand (yes, for real 😂), fully expecting confusion, frustration, maybe even a “good luck with that.” But instead, we were met with the absolute angel on earth that is CARLY. From the moment we walked in, she didn’t flinch, didn’t judge, didn’t laugh (not out loud anyway 😆). She jumped right in, determined to help us figure out the return—even when it became clear that the package was oversized and couldn’t ship through UPS. Most people would’ve politely dismissed us and sent us on our way… but not Carly. ✨ She went above and beyond: – Sizing the door, re-checking policies, double-checking options – Keeping us calm and encouraged through a ridiculous situation – Brainstorming solutions like she was our personal shipping strategist – And then—my favorite part—sending us off with a sweet handwritten note packed with alternative resources and options so we weren’t left stuck or stressed. That note? It wasn’t just helpful—it was KIND. Thoughtful. Human. The kind of customer service you can’t teach, only embody. Carly turned what could’ve been a frustrating disaster into a moment we will never stop talking about. Her professionalism, her patience, and her genuine kindness kept everything moving when it easily could’ve fallen apart. UPS, if you see this: protect Carly at all costs. Promote her. Celebrate her. Clone her. For everyone else: if you’re shipping anything—whether it’s a normal box or, apparently, a DOOR—go see Carly. My experience at this UPS store this morning was so shockingly poor, I felt compelled to write a review. The employee (a man) was extremely passive-aggressive and rude. Here’s what happened: I walked in at 8:50am to return an Amazon package. I accidentally selected the wrong return method—my mistake—and took a few minutes to fix it. I expressed my embarrassment, saying things like, "Oops, my fault, can’t believe I did that, I was in a hurry this morning, I'm usually smarter than that," etc etc etc. First, a positive: he offered to print my label for free, despite the usual $2 charge. I politely declined. It was my fault. No harm, no foul. Then he said I needed an additional box to return my item—but could provide one free of charge. I expressed gratitude, though with a hint of disbelief. I mentioned that previously, in Arizona, I had performed a ton of amazon returns without ever needing an extra box. There, I just placed the item in a plastic bag, secured it the shipping label, and went on my way. I was simply surprised by the store’s different procedure. At that point, he seemed to take personal offense, responding in an inquisitive, sarcastic tone: “Are you doubting me?” He also added, “I thought you were smart.” When it came time to package the return, he broke the awkward silence and asked with the same sarcastic, passive-aggressive tone, “So do you want me to put the shipping label inside the plastic bag, orrrr?” I replied, “Do whatever you normally do, I just need this shipped.” From there, his attitude soured. He began mocking me, telling me “don’t return,” "you're wrong," among other passive-aggressive comments as I walked out the door. The best part? This all happened in front of another customer, who witnessed the entire spectacle. Normally, I have pleasant experiences here when the other employee (a woman) is working. She is fantastic. But this interaction was incredibly unprofessional, rude, and passive-aggressive. He told me “don’t return,” but I literally live next door. So unfortunately, I’ll be seeing him frequently. Terrible customer service overall.

Wow! What a friendly staff, I was immediately greeted so warmly by two wonderful women. They were so helpful throughout the process and truly made my day. Also, their follow up game is so strong! I called them about a label and they called me back, giving me directions on a UPS pick up. So thankful to have these ladies in Little Italy!

This is the third time this year that my wife and I have come by this UPS, during their posted open hours and they've been closed. There's no sign stating that they're closed for an emergency or someone's out to lunch or anything, just closed at 1:30pm when their sign states that they're open until 4pm on Saturdays. Today we also ran into a UPS driver who was also coming by the store for a scheduled pick up and he was confused as to why they were closed. I'm not sure why the staff here continue to do this, but it's quite frustrating. As much as I love having a UPS store in my neighborhood, I'm going to learn my lesson and avoid this store and take my business elsewhere.

Julia was excellent help today with dropping off an Amazon package. Store was in great shape organized and she explained to me about the benefits of hanging onto the Amazon drop off receipt in the case a package could get lost. Very nice!
