The new updates to this UPS location are great and I almost always have parking in front. Their customer service is great, and it feels like they are always trying to help. I do wish they were open right at 8 am, so I could easily make returns on my way to work. Just came back at 3:36, and there’s a photo saying they are out for lunch when the store says they are open. Super frustrating!

Terrible parking. Customer service sucks. Will make you wait for the customer in front of you then again while helping the customer behind you!? All while you worry about your parking. $5 to print your own label for shipping. Not sure if they treated me extra poorly because I seemed impatient. Not trying to be a Karen lol, I was so stressed out about my parking situation! This location is close but might be worth finding a less crowded area to run errands.

Live close by and have been coming here for over 10 years. Service got very bad over the pandemic because of short staff and poor management. Last few years they have really turned this location around with updates to the layout and new staff that are helpful and on top of things. Still a very busy location so better to go off hours or you can expect a wait. But felt comfortable enough to get a mailbox here again and have had a good experience with the new team.

I’ve got a mailbox here, all my business stuff is directed here so be a real pain to change. You can no longer access a mailbox after hours, I get it. We choose to do business in Oakland and it has its challenges. In the last handful of months, they seemed to be better staffed. If we stop by first thing in the morning, there’s generally nobody in the place and they’re open. Super friendly. Later on in the day, there’s no parking, and often busy in the store. Both to be expected in a UPS store without a dedicated parking lot. I was ready to change UPS store six months ago. But with a way, better staffing, happy to be here and support a. Oakland business in our neighborhood.

Tried to drop off packages before 4 PM on a Monday—well within business hours—but was turned away by an employee named Santos who said they were already closed because he wasn’t feeling well. Their posted hours say they’re open until 6 PM. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Avoid this location if you actually need your packages accepted during the hours they claim to be open.
