victoria a 4 months agoNice staff and my time there was easy, but I usually go to the S Broadway location, where I am not charged to print 2 b/w pages of a shipping label. Please be aware you will have to pay $3.26 card if you do not have a printer at home. That's insane in this economy. Not sure if it's because each store can just choose their own policies, so I will stick to the S Broadway location!
Rob Leicht a month agoOn Friday May 29th, at approximately 1pm, I visited the UPS Store to ship a package using Next Day Air Service with Saturday delivery. The employee weighed and measured the package, provided a shipping quote, and processed the transaction. Before paying, I specifically confirmed with the employee that the package wold be delivered on Saturday May 30th, to which the employee assured me that it would. I then asked whether delivery was guaranteed by a specific time on Saturday, to which she said it was guaranteed by noon. Based on that information, I paid for the shipping, received my receipt, and left. Later that evening, I checked the tracking information, and was surprised to discover that the package was not scheduled for delivery until Monday. When I reviewed my receipt it also stated a Monday June 1st delivery date. The problem is not that I misunderstood the service. I specifically asked multiple times whether I was purchasing Saturday delivery and was repeatedly told that I was. Either the employee did not understand the service she was selling or she provided incorrect information. In either case, I paid for a service based on how she represented it, only to find out that her representations were inaccurate. Yes, I could have reviewed the receipt more carefully before leaving the store, but customers should be able to rely on information provided by employees when purchasing a service. It is unreasonable to expect customers to verify every detail after already having received verbal confirmation multiple times. The delivery date was the most important factor in my purchase, and to have that information misrepresented is incredibly disappointing and unacceptable. I will not be visiting this UPS store again.
Marbelis Acosta Niesing 3 months agoI had one of the worst experiences imaginable with this UPS Store, without a doubt, one of the worst (if not the worst) in the entire country. I dropped off a valuable package worth over $400 containing a set of expensive, high-quality ceramic cookware pots that are super resistant and designed to withstand heavy use and impacts. Instead of reaching its destination, the box was apparently ‘damaged’ according to them, and they decided to discard it without any notification, compensation, or accountability. How could a set of durable ceramic pots possibly get so damaged that they had to throw everything away? It’s impossible, they were stolen, plain and simple! When I inquired, they claimed the contents were too damaged to salvage and simply threw it away, yet no proof, photos, or explanation was ever provided. I followed up multiple times, escalated to the manager, and even got promises of a callback that never came. Weeks turned into complete silence. No one took responsibility, no refund, no resolution, just endless excuses and zero follow-through. This level of negligence, poor communication, and apparent disregard for customers’ property is unacceptable. Avoid this location at all costs if you value your items and your time. They lost a package and then lost any chance of earning trust again. 0 stars if possible. Do yourself a favor: skip the headache, protect your money and your packages, and switch to FedEx instead, they are actually responsible and reliable!
Raymond Hubert a month agoI've been here many times and mostly felt transactional. My latest visit, during a heavy snowstorm, they went above and beyond. Had to expedite a foam core poster and with their help was able to repackage, condense and ended up saving $200! Took some time and that's what I appreciate. Get to know the staff because they seem to care!
